EROSION CONTROL

UNIFORM ECM

Uniform ECM

The Uniform ECM is designed to provide a water impermeable uniform thickness concrete filled mattress to counter erosion. The fabric is woven to provide multi-diagonal restraining ties within the mat which restricts and guarantees uniform inflation.
The mattress is impermeable to water and provides excellent protection for such areas as river beds, spillways, dams, ponds, etc.

FILTER POINT ECM

Filter Point ECM

The FP ECM was pioneered to provide a mattress that could control erosion and still provide natural drainage of ground waters.
The two surfaces of the fabric are woven together at intervals to form filter points throughout the mattress. These areas remain free of concrete after injection and are designed to relieve hydrostatic pressures and to provide natural drainage of the land beneath the mat.
Ideally suited for all installations where ground water is likely to present a problem such as Bridges abutments, embankments, river banks, and dams.

ARTICULATING ECM

Articulating ECM

The AB ECM has been designed to provide a heavy duty flexible armouring system which can accomodate soil/sand settlement after installation.
It consists of a double walled polyester fabric woven to produce a series of rectangular blocks. All blocks are connected together by a double woven hinge and cabling through the mattress. After injection of mortar the blocks are able to flex and articulate with any change in the land surface conditions.
The AB ECM is suitable for all instllations where local scour is likely to occur such as seawalls, marinas, or for protection of submarine pipelines.
